Montréal welcomes World Summit AI for 2019-2021!
As one of the world’s most important gatherings in Artificial Intelligence, the World Summit AI brings together the brightest stars in the field to share ideas, network and form new connections to take Artificial Intelligence into the future. This year’s edition at the Gashouder in Amsterdam welcomed over 6,000 specialists, developers and researchers from over 160 countries and featured a headline keynote address from The University of Montréal’s Professor of Computer Science and Operations Research Yoshua Bengio.
As home to some of the world’s biggest players in the field of AI research and development, we’ve had the opportunity to toot our own horn in terms of Montréal’s accomplishments (and important diversity too) in the realm of Artificial Intelligence. Add to the list the recent announcement that Montréal will play host to the World Summit AI for 2019 through to 2021!

Currently over 91,000 qualified experts work in 5,000 facilities – with 9,000 university-level students studying AI and Data programs, preparing to join them – keep Montréal a buzzing hive of AI-related activity.
