One of the event industry’s biggest gatherings is about to happen, and we can’t wait to meet you there. PCMA Convening Leaders is a multi-day flagship education and networking event that takes place annually each January. The 2023 edition will take place from January 8 to 11.
The purpose of the event is to help brands, communities, and organizations connect people with ideas and opportunities. PCMA Convening Leaders offers leading-edge education, research, and networking, as well as information on how business events generate economic and social legacies for businesses and communities. Montréal is in the house
Team Montréal – a coalition of Montréal’s event industry stakeholders – will be onsite to talk about the various opportunities that Montréal holds for meetings and events. We’ll have a booth in the exhibition area. But we’re also planning some top-secret surprises. Hint: you’ll find a little Montréal flair where you least expect it.

Whether attending in person or virtually, part of the joy of PCMA Convening Leaders is having access to some of the most innovative minds on the planet. This year, that means these speakers, among others:
Thomas Barg and Ammar Kandil. Famous as the founders of Yes Theory, a creative group driven by their motto “seek discomfort”, this YouTuber duo will speak to their ability to inspire, empower and unify a community that affords them 20 million views per month.
Allyson Felix. This sports great holds the most U.S. Track & Field Olympic medals of all time, not to mention 13 global titles and a world record. Now helping Los Angeles youth and training in a new division, it seems the best has yet to come.
Adam Grant. An organizational psychologist at Wharton, Grant is also the New York Times bestselling author of Think Again and host of the popular podcast WorkLife. He explores the science of motivation, generosity, original thinking – and rethinking.
Carly Fiorina. Known for being the first woman to lead a Fortune Top-20 company, this ex-CEO of Hewlett Packard and politician is on a mission to inspire, equip and connect individuals and teams to seize opportunities both in their communities and places of work.
Viola Davis. The Academy Award, Tony and Emmy winning actress and star of How to Get Away with Murder is also a producer and philanthropist. She will be giving the closing address.
