Each year, Montréal welcomes new hotels and major renovations to old favourites, and the next 12 months are no exception. From trusted chains to eco-friendly boutique hotels, here are just a few properties to keep your eyes on in 2022.

Hyatt Centric Old Montréal

Just steps from all the city’s major tourist attractions, the Hyatt Centric Old Montréal will have 177 rooms. Whether on a business trip or couple’s getaway, guests will enjoy a wide range of amenities, including a large restaurant, bar, conference rooms, gym, and pool, all with a unique Montréal touch.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Montréal Downtown

Less than 300 meters from Montréal’s convention centre, the new “merger” hotel will inevitably be a hit with business travellers, conventioneers, and families. The amalgamation of the two brands will allow for a varied service offering where virtually everything can be found within a single complex, while respecting the identity of the trusted brands.

Hôtel de l’ITHQ

The Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) is a school that teaches the art of hospitality. The onsite four-star hotel includes continental breakfast and balconies with views of downtown and Mont Royal. The hotel currently getting a makeover. When complete, it will offer environmentally friendly accommodation with attentive service from staff that are truly passionate about hospitality.

One of the biggest attractions for event professionals will be the hotel aspect of the new Royalmout, an ecologically rooted community project. Situated 10 minutes from the Montréal Trudeau International Airport (YUL), Royalmount will have up to 1,500 guest rooms available. Some of these will include extended-stay suites and business-focused rooms. Also notable: a conference centre! Furthermore, the piazza, located in the middle of all the buildings, will be the heart of the community.

Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites Montréal Mid-Town​

Located in a booming sector of the Côte-des-Neiges district, minutes from downtown and Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, this is a hotel that offer convenient and amenities. Not just free Wi-Fi and a business centre, but also a state-of-the-art exercise room and an indoor pool. The rooms, suites, and apartments feature contemporary urban decor, and some can even accommodate your pet friend.
