The Marriott Château Champlain

This historic property has fully restored its iconic Caf’Conc cabaret-style theatre, first opened in 1967. Short for “Café Concert”, the space’s name represents its purpose: with a speakeasy vibe, cozy ambiance and state-of-the-art acoustics, the intimate venue will serve to host musical performances and special presentations, accommodating up to 200 guests. It’s an exciting new venue to consider for events steeped in old-school glamour.

Le Petit Hôtel Notre-Dame

This second Petit Hôtel installment brightens Notre-Dame Street in Old Montréal with the same formula as the original Petit Hôtel on Saint-Paul, which includes attentive and personalized service, breakfast and complimentary barista coffee all day long. It’s only the first of many: the Gray Collection have announced they’ll be developing a Petit Hôtel chain.

Moxy Montréal Downtown 

Located in the heart of Griffintown, Moxy Montréal Downtown is Marriott’s first Moxy hotel in the city, conveniently close to the Bell Centre, Place Bonaventure and the Montreal train station. This boutique hotel spans 11 floors of a 63-storey mixed-use tower (one of the tallest in the area), offering 216 smart, flexible bedrooms featuring modular furniture and stylish touches, embracing today’s young-at-heart traveler. Hôtel Le Centre Sheraton Montréal 

Le Centre Sheraton Montréal’s recent $50-million transformation includes the renovation of its 825 guestrooms and 45,000 sq. ft. of banquet and foyer space. Located in the heart of downtown core, the hotel welcomes guests with exceptional service and amenities mere steps from the Bell Centre, a variety of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, attractions and more. The update will continue into 2025, when Stanley restaurant will add a terrace onto René-Lévesque Boulevard West for outdoor dining.

Hôtel Nelligan

Sofitel Montréal Golden Mile

France’s pioneering luxury hotel brand, Sofitel, has announced the complete beautification of its flagship Canadian property in Montréal’s Golden Square Mile. Located on prestigious Sherbrooke Street, the 20-year-old flagship’s complete beautification project will imbue all of the hotel’s facilities — including guest rooms, lobby, common areas and the Renoir restaurant — with the beauty of Montréal culture and French-style hospitality. The hotel will stay open throughout the 3-phase project.

Hôtel SonoLux

SonoLux will be Montréal’s first sound and light immersive hotel, with transformative acoustics, experimental video art and augmented hospitality. Located in a 1914 Old Montréal building, this 36-room destination will feature transformative acoustics and experimental video art in multiple exhibition spaces, including the rooms. Entrepôt Van Horne

The iconic water tower that presides over the corner of Van Horne and Boulevard Saint-Laurent in Mile End is on the verge of a makeover signed by designer Zébulon Perron and architect Thomas Balaban, giving the edifice meaning and purpose again after years of lying fallow. The complex will include a boutique hotel, a restaurant, office space, business spaces and a rooftop terrasse with an incredible, little-seen view.

Hotel Le Germain at the Casino de Montréal

Adding to their already fully rounded Casino experience, Casino de Montréal owners Loto-Québec are planning a $150-million hotel project on their iconic Parc Jean-Drapeau site, in collaboration with the lauded boutique hotel chain Le Germain. The luxury property will consist of 200 rooms in a building that respects the importance and the natural beauty of the site, maintaining a low horizon line and a human scale. The views of the Formula 1 track during Grand Prix will be outstanding.

Royalmount Hotel

Royalmount is a 1.8 acre, $7-billion, carbon-neutral real estate project featuring a luxury mall, already open to the public as the project’s Phase 1. This sustainable, carbon-neutral community also features dining, entertainment and Le Fou Fou, a gourmet European-style food hall, a perfect place to hold events. In its future phases the complex will also include an aquarium, an ice rink and a hotel: a hospitality hub located halfway between the airport and downtown Montréal, where patrons will be able to immerse themselves in the unique culture of the community.

StarCité Hotel

Located on a famous site in the city’s east end, mere steps from the Olympic Stadium, this hotel complex project designed by Provencher Roy will stretch over seven stories and 16,000 square feet. The project will transform the beloved StarCité cinema space — which will remain, in part, and provide entertainment options for the hotel patrons. It will also include a large exterior walkway, a public plaza and direct access to the metro station. The hotel’s multifunctional space will be designed to welcome 1,000 people.
