Tourisme Montréal: News and People What's New in Montréal

From music to art and everything in between, Montréal is known worldwide for its unbeatable talent, exuberant flair and ability to draw a crowd. From September 13 to 15, that talent and flair will be showcased at the Montréal Science Centre for M3, Canada’s only menswear focused fashion festival. Drawing fashion enthusiasts from across the country, M3 brings together artists, VIP guests, influencers and leaders in the fields of business, art and culture for workshops, conferences and more that will explore the entrepreneurial side of fashion.

Deep in vogue

The business behind Montréal’s fashion sector is driven by a passion to maintain our place on the fashion map of the country and the world. Mmode, the Metropolitan Fashion Cluster is a non-profit organization who mission is to contribute to the improvement of Québec’s fashion industry. Mmode exists to invigorate a thriving and creatively unique industry. M3 is an excellent example of how Montréal’s fashion cluster is essential to the longevity of a sector that helps maintain our city’s edgy reputation on the world stage.

In fashion

M3 is the only festival of its kind in Canada and Montréal, being one of the country’s fashion savviest cities, is the perfect place to launch this festival’s first edition. M3’s mission is to connect people to men’s fashion through experimentation, education and, of course, celebration. From Friday to Sunday, M3 will feature a full schedule of workshops, conferences, fashion shows and more that draw attention to the business side the fashion industry in today’s global economy.

A place to see – and be seen

Festival goers will also get out and explore the city’s nightlife at parties in some of our most buzzworthy neighbourhoods. Things kick off in style on Friday at Vol de Nuit during the official launch party. We head downtown on Saturday night for the officially closing party at Marcus at the Four Seasons Hotel Montréal and Le Richmond in Griffintown will host a stylish brunch on Sunday.
