HUB Montréal: How can we use digital creativity to recover?
HUB Montréal is an international business accelerator event for creative industries in the entertainment, cultural, and experiential marketing sectors. The event has been nicknamed the “SXSW à la Montréal”—largely because of its innovative programming and festival atmosphere.
Professionals from ecosystems as diverse as music, digital arts, film, video games, multimedia, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality are present. From October 12-15, they converge at HUB Montréal to exchange ideas and learn new ones, collaborate, do business, and of course, celebrate. This is Montréal after all.
Digital creativity as a driver of economic and tourism recovery
This year, more than 300 participants, industry professionals and more than a hundred international buyer delegates, are invited to explore the theme of "Digital creativity as a driver of economic and tourism recovery.”
After a fully virtual edition in 2020, the HUB Montréal team is offering up a hybrid model, meaning that some events will be held face-to-face. The in-person events will take place on October 12 and 13 at Montréal’s innovative convention centre: the Palais des Congrès.
Note that participants can attend either face-to-face and/or virtually from anywhere in the world. The digital aspects of the event happen from 12-15 October.
Networking in the Clouds
A variety of topics will be explored over the four-day event. Many of them will be, of course, related to current challenges. Discussions will include "The future of live entertainment", "How to improve the visitor experience through digital creativity", "How digital creativity can revitalize a destination”, and more.
Furthermore, thanks to a partnership with the Grande Roue de Montréal, a “Networking in the Clouds” session will take place on October 13. The participating companies will have the chance to develop their network while admiring the panorama of the city from more than 60 metres in the air.
