With travel becoming safer and safer, the hotel industry is slowing getting back on its feet. In fact, the provincial Tourism Minister recently announced more than $42 million in loans to 22 hotel companies across the province to support 24 renovation or infrastructure improvement projects. Montréal’s iconic Bonaventure Hotel — which opened in 1967 and offers 2.5 sumptuous acres of gardens — will benefit from $5 million.
