Montréal hotel news: Autumn edition
Montréal hotels are open and ready for visitors. While the past year and a half has presented is slew of challenges for the hotel industry, properties were also given a moment to reflect or renovate. In the coming years, we’re inevitably going to see some stunning renovations and innovative openings. With that in mind, here are some hotel-related news items coming from Montréal!
Montréal has the best hotel in Canada
Travel + Leisure Magazine recently unveiled their list of Top 10 City Hotels in Canada. Montréal was featured not once, not twice, but three times! Our luxurious Ritz-Carlton was ranked as the best hotel in Canada. Congratulations also to Hôtel Nelligan and Auberge du Vieux-Port for also making the list! Hotels were rated on their facilities, location, service, food, and overall value.
Give this hotel a chance
Speaking of Travel + Leisure Magazine, the publication also recently shared a story about a hotel in Montréal that has…wait for it… a John Lennon and Yoko Ono Suite?! Yes, it’s true. Most Montréalers are familiar with the fact that John and Yoko wrote and recorded “Give Peace a Chance” at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth hotel. But it’s a tidbit of history that we never grow tired of sharing! According to the magazine, “There’s also a celebrated music energy in Montreal — akin to what you might feel in Nashville or London — that's somewhat overlooked on the global travel scene.” We concur. Come discover it for yourself!
Clearing the air
Clear Inc., a provider of world-class air and water firewall technologies, recently announced its first-ever hotel partnership—with Vogue Hotel Montréal. “Engaging in a partnership with Clear was an easy decision, especially given that healthy living and wellness is an incredibly pertinent theme right now within Canada’s hotel industry,” said Eric Hamel, General Manager at Vogue Hotel Montréal.
